today's water

organic lemon, mint leaves, green tea, and blueberries!  can you tell what i have in the house?

i've been using this tea from The Republic of Tea since i've been doing ice water.  the matcha powder adds the flavor really nicely to cold water.

an old dresser...

i bought this dresser second hand with the intention of redoing it.  it looks a bit ready for a baby's room.  i've never done this before so i'm kind of making it up as i go along.

i also bought a vase for $1.96 at goodwill. it was so pretty but without thinking i left it on top while i was sanding and boom.

no more vase :(

anyway, it is coming along nicely and developing some character.  we'll see how it goes!

today's water

I've been trying to drink a lot of water lately and I find it much more enjoyable with fun flavors!  today was green tea with cucumber and blueberries!

not your mama's plain old water

went to pick up my mom after work today and i brought these waters to keep cool and hydrated.  staying hydrated is important for full body functioning and beautiful glowing skin.  a great refresher for the morning or after a long day of work in the summer.

to ice water add:
    a few blueberries
    3 slices of lemon
    a slice of persian cucumber

you'll be surprised at how much flavor it has!

glorious salad - no ingredient left behind

what's for dinner? the most glorious salad of course! composed of everything salad-y i could find in my house.  green beans, organic romaine, organic arugula, kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes, beets (that i picked!), grilled chicken, organic fuji apple, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, organic golden raisins, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt, fresh ground black pepper.

the bigger the better.

YUUH-HUM!
